Materials, Prices, and Contact Information

Your drawing or painting is done on 60% rag, acid-free drawing paper.   Although your portraits are drawn, they are called a painting when the whole surface of the paper is covered.   Pastels are a mixture of pure pigment and a paste or binder.  Since this pigment isn’t polluted with oil or water, the color will last as long or longer than an oil painting would if protected properly.

Black and white portraits are done with charcoal pencils on grey paper colored in the pulp to help resist fading.

If you are able to pick up your portrait, it will be gently taped to acid-free foam core and encased in a plastic sleeve ready to take to the frame shop.

I do send portraits through the mail fully insured.  If you choose that option, you will be able to view and approve your picture through digital photos sent through email.
